Ferrite(Ceramic) magnets are made from Bariumor or Strontium Carbonate and Iron Oxide.They are black in color and are hard and brittle. Ferrite(Ceramic) magnet are mostly widely used for Loudspeakers,Small Motor,Generators and Rotors due to good resistance to demagnetization and lowest cost in all kinds of magnets.
Ferrite magnets can be used between -40oC and +200 oC. The mechanical property of ferrite magnets is hard and brittle. They can be cut using diamond tools.
Since the raw material of sintered ferrite magnet is oxide, so ferrite magnets will not be rusted under severe environment nor affected by many chemicals (except some strong acids).

Tolerance on dimensions between unfinished surfaces is +/-2% or +/-0.025￣ whichever is greater,and tolerance on dimensions between finished surfaces is +/-0.005￣,Tolerance on thickness is always +/-0.005￣
